Chapel Church
This project was the MEP/FP design for a new construction church with a large sanctuary,
fellowship hall and meeting/classrooms. The HVAC system consisted of a ground mounted
packaged unit for the sanctuary and split system condensing units with indoor gas fired air
handlers for the remaining areas. The general lighting system used fluorescent downlights in
the sanctuary and fellowship hall and fluorescent 2x4 fixtures throughout the remaining areas.
Coordination was required for the theatrical lighting locations and power connections and the
A/V system locations and power connections. A manual fire alarm system with occupancy
notification was designed throughout the building which also monitored the sprinkler system.

Covenant Church
This project was the MEP/FP design for a 35,000 S.F. new classroom and 900 seat worship
center. The initial mechanical system study concluded the new addition would be most
efficiently heated and air conditioned by a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system along with a
dedicated outside air (DOAS) system. The VRF and DOAS systems were later value engineered
out and replaced by conventional pad mounted gas fired air conditioning units. Coordination
with the church’s audio, video and acoustics consultants where required for the HVAC system
designs. The general lighting system used fluorescent downlights in the sanctuary and
fellowship hall and fluorescent 2x4 fixtures throughout the remaining areas. Coordination was
required for the theatrical lighting locations and power connections and the A/V system
locations and power connections. A manual fire alarm system with occupancy notification was
designed throughout the building which also monitored the sprinkler system.
